Wise Steps

Wise Steps helps local people transform their lives, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund. Our project provides customers with one-to-one tailored support to help you make the first steps towards getting into work.

A key aspect of the Wise Steps programme is that it recognises the need to improve individual wellbeing as an anchor for helping people feel happy and confident to move towards work.

Meadow Well Connected work in partnership with The Wise Group and other local partners to deliver this programme.

Participants receive specialist one-to-one support from a dedicated Wise Steps Coach, working positively together to decide a personalised plan to address issues which are affecting their confidence and ability to move towards work. All participants can receive support for up to 18 months and can have access to a wide range of Specialist Partners who can help with:

  • Welfare and benefits advice
  • Counselling
  • Functional Skills
  • Digital Inclusion
  • Financial Inclusion, and much, much more!
