Support our work Ways to volunteer There are lots of ways to get involved with Meadow Well Connected, here are just a few: Community Advocate Volunteer - help spread the word about our work and help out with events and supporting the running of our building. Digital Volunteer - working in our IT suite to support people digital and employability skills. Garden Volunteer - working in our 5 acre community garden you will gain horticultural experience and benefit from being outdoors. Social Care Volunteer - working alongside staff to support adults with additional needs you will gain experience of working in the sector and we can offer additional training as part of this role, an ideal stepping stone to working in the Social Care sector. Community Group Volunteer - do you have a passion or skill you'd like to share with others? We can help you start your own community group around a particular interest or hobby such as music, crafts, games or reading group. Whatever your passion is we can help you share this with others. Reception Volunteer - working to greet our visitors and support our reception staff with managing room hire and training function. Play Work Volunteer - helping out with our Connected Kids Club Facilities Volunteer - supporting our Caretaker with maintenance and cleaning tasks. Events Volunteer - helping at one-off and regular events Specialist Volunteer - do you have a specialist skill you could help us with, such as marketing, social media or something else? Trustee - we may have positions available to join our Board of Trustees Group Volunteers - we can offer opportunities for businesses or groups of volunteers to attend to complete one-off projects across the centre. All regular volunteers are required to undertake a DBS Check and complete Safeguarding training. All volunteers are given a full induction and asked to work to a mutually agreed rota.
