2022 is a very special year as Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her Platinum Jubilee and we're delighted to announce that we have been awarded two very special grants to help our community celebrate this once in a lifetime occasion and create a long-term legacy to mark the event.

First, we've been awarded a grant from the Arts Council through their Let's Create Jubilee Fund which will enable us to run a number of creative workshops where local people can make decorations and other celebratory items to decorate their homes and streets. Workshops will be running throughout May and culminating in our Platinum Jubilee Garden Party on 31st May. This work is being delivered jointly between ourselves and Cedarwood Trust

We've also secured funding from the National Lottery Platinum Jubilee fund to work with a local artist over the coming 18 months to inspire people to create an art and nature trail in our community garden. We will be offering various different nature inspired workshops between June 2022 and September 2023 to give people opportunities to try different crafts and nature activities which will lead to the creation of a new art in nature trail for people to enjoy for many years to come.

Full details of the programmes will be shared on Facebook
